This battery makes what is ment to do, BUT, be aware of this, if you plan to replace the baterry yourself, you will need something else to open the ipod because the opener tool that comes with this battery is useless. Besides this, eveything is OK with the battery, it is just like the OEM battery that comes with the ipod the first time
