I have a car head unit with input jacks for a CD player. Instead of buying the 5 CD player for $325, I used this cable to input my Ipod into the system. I can control the songs with the Ipod.
And the Ipod leaves the car with me so there is nothing to steal.

It is not mentioned in the description but the PAC iC-AV DOES NOT WORK with the iPod Classic. Works for audio but will not pass video. For the newer iPods you need the iC-AV2.

doesn’t work for i pod touch, I gave it to a friend of mine, he likes it.
