Got the clearly original case for iphone 3GS-slipped it right on and it fit great-much smaller than any other case I’ve seen. I have not had any problems with bubbles like other reviewers have mentioned. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the volume control buttons on the side are a little difficult to operate. Will buy additional colors.

I got this with high expectations. It came in a timely manner and i opened the well packaged item. It was light and came in a bubble envelope and well printed out address label. The material quality of the protector was very good. Installed it with ease in 20 secs and started using it. The buttons all remain functional though the volume buttons were harder to press, though still able to. The screen functions were still well functional, though not as fully functional as i would like it to be. (Bear in mind i have bodyguardz on, to be fair)
The first problem i have here is with the screen bubbles. This could be due to the fact that i have bodyguardz Screen protector installed on the screen. The bodybuardz SP is a bit sticky and so i think it could have caused the bubbles. I’ve yet to try it on an iphone w/o bodyguardz.
Apart from the scree bubbles, the main problem i have is with dust. The part where the ear speaker is, will accumulate dust IF you put it in your pants pocket. I haven’t tried other places. The bad thing is it is hard to clean up that part. as my fingers are not long enough to reach. I will need to insert a long cloth to do so. After 1 hour or so of usage, there is quite a lot of accumulation of dust. I’m not sure if other colours will conceal the dust more, but the clearly original case shows the dust obviously.
The third issue i have (though not a really big issue) is that the screen isn’t as clear as it used to be w/o the shades case.
Sadly, i removed the case after 1 hour and went back to using a cheap but functional plastic snap on case.
PROS : Superb protection, nice design
CONS : Dust accumulation, bubbles, screen not as clear.

I recently bought the new Iphone 3Gs and was looking for the best way to protect it. My friend has nearly every case ever made for Iphone but they were all so bulky. I found this case from Shades and I truly love it. It is not bulky at all yet is so protective! Lets the Iphone still look like an Iphone. I bought the Black front/clear back one and love how it looks. After I put it on my wife had to have one also and I bought 2 additional cases for my daughters’ Ipod touches. My wife got the blue one and the girls have pink and purple. Now they know who’s is who’s right away and they are completely protected. I have showed this case to a couple of friends and they have now ordered them too. If you are looking for the perfect case for your iphone this is it. I can also use my dock I have without having to take it out of the case. Try that with one of those big plastic ones.

An awesome case for your iPhone as it gives your phone full protection from all sides including the screen in 1 simple and complete package. Absorbs impacts too with the slight lip on the sides of the case as i’ve dropped my iPhone a few times already without any problems so far. However, I did drop it once unfortunately on the bottom and the base where it’s not covered and the bottom cover cracked a little, this proves the benefit of using this case! Best case ever! See it to believe. I’ll be ordering a few more colours very soon once the new stock is in on 20th Aug 2009. Cheers. Nick Ee.

I recently bought this case. After searching all the stores, endless searching online and trying many different cases for my iphone, The Shades case is by far the best one I’ve had yet. The case fully protects the device and does not allow any dust or scratches. This case allows me to use any of my accesories.
