When I bought this product I thought it would be a flexible. The car adapter plug is huge and you can only adjust it in up and down directions. I couldn’t used it in my car so I gave it to my mother. Luckily this product also brings a mp3 cable and I could use my ipod through my radio AUX. If it wasn’t for this little cable I would have ranked this with one star, but at least I got the change to give my mom somethin

It worked well with iphone 3g, I had to tune the FM channel for best reception .. 91.1 for Seattle. There is a small hiss sound but it is similar to most FM channels. It charges and plays music. Also I did not have to switch to airplane mode as it worked just fine.

This item looks col and all but i recieved mine the other day and it’s a POS.
It is not comparable with the iPhone, there is no LCD screen and the tuner looks like it’s off a radio from the 70s.
I tried to contact eforcity and they said it’s not their fault that another seller changed their description. Well, shouldn’t you take the item down? I guess everyone not is going to get the wrong item, then. They claim they don’t have the item in stock. I want my money back. Don’t waste your time with this item or this seller!

It came in a box that had been already used. Really low quality item, i havent seen the LCD screen turn on so i might have a deffective one. The adapter would be on the way of my stick shift. I had to remove the cushion/padded foam so that i could have space to put my iphone with its case in it. I dont use the FM transmitter, i purchased this item to use the aux on my car, have a way to charge it and a holder all in one. It does its job. BUT it comes with a really cheap cable that didnt work, im glad i had one with me. It gives out a nice sound and it charges it. Its not so stable so i gotta maneuver around to make it work.
Overall
if your needing a charger and a holder with the aux output buy it
its cheap dont except something good

I considered two 4-in-1 products for my iPhone 3gs. I opted for this one, despite it being 30% more expensive, because of the LCD screen & ability to use any radio station. I had a similar transmitter with an old iPhone and know that the typical 4-station option doesn’t work well in my area.
I’m pretty disappointed to realize the advertising is misleading, and that similar reviewers are getting the run around when trying to get the correct product.
I’ll probably look into the possibility of returning or exchanging this. But the cost of shipping this back and hoping for the legitimate product will probably not be worth it.
What a racket. I’m honestly disappointed in Amazon that they allow stores like this to falsely advertise. It’s obviously been an issue for months and should have already been dealt with.
