I bought this cd player a few months ago to use at work while I work on the computer. I am extremely dissapointed. It has extremely poor battery life and does some sort of weird humming noise for the first few seconds of play. I am definately going to replace it with something better. This is not the first Philips cd player I have owned, but it will definately be the last.
