This product has a lot of nice featues, perfect size for the bedroom, office, even the kitchen. The sound quality is not the greatest. Really cheap speakers. If you are looking for something to play music on within a close, low range this is for you.

While the item is nice, my daughter cannot plug in her Ipod. She needs to purchase a plug to use it/

I love GPX products. They’re usually affordable, decent quality electronics. When you can’t buy a Sony, a GPX will do the job for a lot less. They’re workmanlike, and while they’re generally not preferred over higher end or even medium end systems, they do the job they’re designed to do.

Which is why I hate to say it, but this is a bad product. I have replaced it several times, and each time the system has failed.

The first time I bought one, the whole unit quit working after 4 days, and when I say “quit working” I mean it simply did not turn on, either via remote, by pressing the power button on the unit or any other method to power it up. It was dead already. I returned it and had it replaced. The second unit’s remote failed after a week, and then the CD player shortly thereafter. I replaced it again, and this time the unit once more quit working after less than a week. I was exasperated, as I was looking for a simple solution and this player offered exactly what I needed, but it failed to actually meet those needs.

I recommend against buying this stereo/CD player, it just may be a lemon.

Looking for a CD player, I found this little number. Unpacking it, assembling it, and turning it on took mere minutes, and couldn’t have been much easier. It is compact, light of weight, and sits nicely on a piece of furniture.

Its pluses are its simplicity, a neat little blue display panel (not another green light, please), and a teeny remote control.

Its minuses: the sound is a little reedy, not full; its volume can not be cranked up too much.

Overall: I got what I paid for; I’m satisfied.

This is how good this is. Good looking, reasonable sound quality, but the next minute, the sound started dying for apparentely no reason, and boom it was gone forever. The biggest investment I ever made, as it is pretty cheap for a sound system, but quite expensive for something that will work for only one week.

Moreover, as I live outside the US, I have now to give up and just regret my wasted time and money, as no return policy or warranty will do me any good. I checked some reviews and this has happened to quite a few others, so if I were Amazon, I would stop selling this cheap extra-low quality system!
